Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Hamid Doost Mohammadian obtained his doctorate in business strategy and a honorary doctorate in international business and sustainable development management, a master of industrial engineering and a bachelor of computer hardware engineering. He is an expert in Blue-Green Sustainability and combining IoT technology with Management.
Having worked in a key position offshore project for one of the largest and famous Gas companies named POGC, in his twenties, shows his extraordinary managing abilities. Presently, he is professor for sustainability/culture, member of FHM’s faculty and researcher at the University of Applied Sciences (FHM) in Germany. Furthermore, he works as an external professor in sustainability at the Technical University of Berlin (TU Belin) and an external PhD supervisor/examiner of two British Universities, Worcester University and University of Gloucestershire and visiting professor/faculty member and honorary professor at Industrial Management Institute (IMI) and International University of Chabahar (IUC) in Iran.
In addition, he works as an academic leader of Erasmus+ project titled ‘’Internet of Energy (IoE)-Education/Qualification’’ in Germany since 2017. His experience on sustainability and Global SMEs such as cooperating as a senior consultant at Danish Sustainable Platforms Company in Copenhagen, cooperating with former mayor of Copenhagen and researching on sustainability since 2012 and consulting the German MV state Minister of Energy and Infrastructure to cooperate with Iran in 2016, senior consultant for the German WME water desalination company in Munich, business developer for German Windrad Simulation & Engineering company in Bad Doberan utilized in his books and articles. Previously, he wrote several books as well as a number of publications in peer-reviewed journals and international conferences in combination of Management, Engineering and Blue-Green Sustainability.
In august 2018 he was conference manager for the first international conference titled ‘’Future of SMEs in Iran and Germany’’ in Berlin and because of his great net of relationship in his country, is planning to manage the second international conference in Iran in summer 2019 titled related topics to Global SMEs, Blue-Green Sustainability and Digitalization in Energy sector.
Since January 2019 he is leader at FHM German Institute of SME for Iran (F-GISI) in Germany.
Since 2000, he has held so many speeches in international conferences and events and currently on 16th of May, he has held an international webinar for IoE EU project titled: ‘’Holding a discussion on challenges/problems the Internet of Energy (IoE) can solve
